Scrabble Finn and Friends rulebook:

NO GOOGLING. ANY WORDS. If everyone consents- no phones at all 

  1. One must place the word, no googling no phone will be accessed.

  2. If it’s obvious, don’t define it. 

  3. If anyone suspects bullshit, player must define without Google.

  4. A vote will be taken. If you get half or majority for agreement that is a word. No google shall occur. 

  5. If you get 3/4s of the room to disagree that is the proper definition or even a word. It shall be googled. 

  6. Trading is allowances. Favors are allowed. 

If it’s a word, but not the word as defined by player then half points will occur, if it is googled post vote and NOT a word however many points it is worth will be deducted. 

Players that argue/vote against, are risking the point value of said word to be divided amongst the vote no players, then deducted evenly, rounded down if it does not divide well. 

EDIT: If one person contests a word played, and the other two don’t contest, then they have nothing to gain or lose

Person x plays and is contested by person y and the word is real, then  person x gains half points of the word and person y loses half points of word 

If person x plays and is contested by person y and the word is not real, then person y gains half points of the word and person x loses half points of word. 

If person x who played word loses, they can choose to keep the word on the board too. This is considered controversial, but will be allowed

WHEN A WORD IS PLAYED, CONTESTED and LOST. THEN THE LETTERS FROM WORD ARE TO BE REMOVED FROM BOARD. PLAYER WHO ATTEMPTED SAID WORD WILL DRAW HOWEVER MANY PLACED. AND CONTESTED LETTERS SHALL BE PLACED IN BAG FOR FUTURE DRAWINGS.

EDIT : OUTSIDE WAGERS ARE ALLOWED FOR UP TO TEN POINTS ON ANYTHING. 

Ok so wagers from now on- Basically since there are 4 possible outcomes and 3/4s are negative for the player who attempted word. So from now on the person who contested and was wrong loses the amount of points (half) and that amount goes to the original player of word from the bank of the contester who lost 

To extrapolate- if multiple people contest and are wrong then that half is contributed from every player and stacks (player a plays word is worth 10 then person x, y, and z contest then that amount stacks to 5 from each, then an extra 15 along with word amount are gained to original player
